Musculoskeletal Radiology: Ulnar variance

Positive ulnar variance (ulnar plus):
Articular surface of ulna projects distal to that of the radius
Associated with ulnocarpal abutment syndrome

Negative ulnar variance (ulnar minus):
Relatively short ulna
Associated with Keinbocks disease
