LATERAL GROUP:
3 components: superficial, common extensor and supinator
1. Superficial (mobile wad): brachioradialis, ECRL; situated anterolaterally
Brachiradialis: anterior most, from supracondylar ridge of humerus to near radial styloid
ECRL: from supraconylar ridge just distal to brachioradialis to base of 2nd metacarpal
2. Common extensors: ECRB, ED, EDM (extensot digiti minimi), ECU
ECRB: in close contact with lateral collateral ligament, deep to ECRL, initial site of tennis elbow
3. Supinator:
From lateral epicondyle and supinator crest of ulna to radial shaft
Thin superficial and thick deep component
Posterior interosseeous nerve traverses between superficial and deep components
MEDIAL GROUP:
Pronator teres
Superficial flexors (Common flexor): FCR, Palmaris longus, FCU, FDS
Deep flexors: FDP, FPL
ANTERIOR GROUP:
Biceps brachi
Brachialis
POSTERIOR GROUP:
Triceps
Anconeus
Anconeus epitrochlearis
