Flexor Carpi Ulnaris

Origin (2 heads):
Humeral head: medial posrtion of common flexor - medial epicondyle
Ulnar head: Medial margin of olecranon

Insertion:
Pisiform bone

Relations:
A fibrous arch (Arcuate ligament, Osborne band, Cubital tunnel retinaculum) between 2 heads forms roof of cubital tunnelUlnar N passes between 2 heads within the cubital tunnel
Posterior ulnar recuurent A also passes thru it
Above wrist Ulnar N and A lie lateral to the tendon

Nerve supply:
Ulnar N

Action:
Although inserted into pisiform, the pull is transmitted through pisohamate and pisometacarpal ligaments to hook of hamate and base of 5th MC
Wrist flexion, adduction
