ANATOMY:
From inferior aspect of medial epicondyle (no attachment to medial condyle)
Best seen on coronal
Anterior bundle:
Largest and most important, inserts into sublime tubercle of coronoid process of ulna, proximally may be lax
Posterior bundle:
Inserts into posteromedial margin of trochlear notch
Transverse bundle (ligament of Cooper):
Little functional role, Not clearly seen on MR
Accessory or extra bundle:
May be present, posteromedial
