HRCT shows cortical resorption cavity, localised geographic osteopenia
MR:
More sensitive than scintigraphy
High signal on T2, marrow edema, periosteal edema, multiple parallel straitions in the cortex, detached periosteum, thickened periosteum
Sensitivity of MR 88%, CT 42% and nuclear scan 74%
