HAGL lesion

Humeral Avulsion of Glenohumeral ligament
Avulsion of Anterior band of IGHL from humeral neck
Inferomedial retraction of the ligament apperas thick and irregular
Associated with rotator cuff tears (90% subscapularis tears), Bankart lesion, Hill Sachs lesion
Extravasation of contrast anterior to humeral neck and shaft
On coronal, normal U shape is lost and retracted J shaped IGHL anterior band may be seen or may not be seen
Associated with anterior capsule rupture amd contrast extravasation is seen anterior to humeral neck
20% associated with bony HAGL injury
Rarely floating avulsion at both attachment may occur, when it is called Avulsion of IGHL (AIGHL)
