Musculoskeletal Radiology: Ankle arthrogram

Supine with ankle slightly plantar flexed
Mark skin lateral to the medial malleolus, approximately 1cm below the joint line
Mark dorsalis pedis artery
Direct the needle a little cephalad to avoid the anterior tibia
Inject approximately 6-8mls
