Bille b eta l. A Comparison of CT Arthrography of the Wrist to Findings During Wrist Arthroscopy. The Journal of Hand Surgery. Volume 32, Issue 6, July-August 2007, Pages 834-841 : Review of 76 patients showed 16 scapholunate ligament tears, 29 lunotriquetral tears, 10 peripheral TFCC tears, and 33 central TFCC tears on arthroscopy. Sensitivity and specificity of CT arthrograms were SLL (94%, 86%), LTL (85%, 79%), peripheral TFCC (30%, 94%), and central TFCC (88%, 95%). They concluded that CT wrist arthrogram is highly accurate in diagnosing SLL, LTL, and central TFCC tears with high sensitivity and specificity, but not in peripheral tears.
